October 2020
Am I going to die?
For a moment everyone was asking.
For the first time, a question that had once belonged only to hospital rooms and battlefields became something everybody on earth considered. Survival mode went global. Systematic disruption in every direction; social, political, and economic. Everywhere, simultaneously. The mechanisms people had used to cope, connect, and feel human were shutting down one by one.
Live music stopped. Venues closed. The creative, energetic pulse that had moved through crowds and rooms and late nights went quiet. In that chaos, a different kind of question surfaced, not about survival, but about meaning.
"What can one person do to help make the world a better place?"
Challenge Accepted.
Lifework Integration reminds us that the opposite of stress is not “no stress”, it is creativity. Like the tension of wood being twisted, strings pulled tight, and the stretched drumskin, music reflects what happens when stress is fine-tuned and used for good.
The world needs
live music.
October, 2020. In an effort to prove that one person can make a difference, an unlikely movement began. The live music that had gone quiet throughout the world all spring and summer found a home in the Lehigh Valley that fall.
Three bands, two beer sponsors, and one food truck were organized and 100 guests felt something other than fear. Then a new vision was created.
"You made a screwy year
have a Fabulous flip."

A few weeks later, Bison Barn cofounder and Operator, Tim Donnelly started working on an idea: Create a place where up-and-coming bands can perform original music. By spring of 2021, the detached garage evolved into a stage, a VIP loft upstairs, and shortly after a bison head mount was donated, the Bison Barn was ready.
What started as a desire to help people feel better evolved into something with a permanent address: a stage, lights, and amazing artists from all over the country. The world needs live music.
